Poor posture is detrimental to good health. It can cause nerve damage, muscle imbalances, joint pain, bone degeneration, digestive problems,  respiratory problems, poor circulation, & even depression. For every 1″ the head protrudes forward off the neck this adds an additional 10lbs that neck must support, that’s heavy stuff. Proper posture is when the ears, shoulders, hips, knees & ankles align in a straight line. Massage can help reduce muscle tension & strain, restore proper spinal alignment, reduce risk of disease leaving you to work on correcting posture when you begin to slouch. Correcting poor posture won’t happen overnight but with conscious & constant effort it can become less of a pain, literally.
